RunKeeper

How It Started
It was a month before the launch of the iPhone 3G and the rumor was that the new iPhone would have a GPS chip. At the time there was a question if RunKeeper should be developed as a website or as a mobile application. Raizlabs suggested that GPS enabled phones could be a game-changer in fitness.
What Happened?
Raizlabs did the initial design and development of the iPhone application for RunKeeper and later developed the Android application. The RunKeeper solution has won numerous awards and was even named Time Magazine top 10 apps of 2009. The RunKeeper internal team has continued to develop and design the application in recent years.
