Other features

There are many more features in magic gallery that allow you to color correct, touch up, crop, add watermarks and more.

Not only does magic gallery let you create galleries it can help improve your photos.

Digibug LogoRaizlabs has partnered with Digibug allowing you to sell your photos and prints right from your own website. The process is fairly simple and allows you to set your own prices for photos, t-shirts, mugs and other products.

This page will outline the steps necessary to set up and use Digibug Printing Services with Magic Gallery Thumbnail Software.

To start with, if you haven't already done so, download and install our Magic Gallery Software.

Once the software is installed, the next task is to set up a Digibug Pro Account.

  • To start, go to the Digibug Pro Sign-up page. Fill out the demographic information there and click submit.
  • You will then receive an email directing you to your personal login page. Enter your user name password and you will be have access to your administration control panel. You will notice your Company ID here. Write it down, you will need it later.

  • Click "Add Event" under "Set Up Event" and you will be presented with a simple form. The required fields are "Event Login" and "Event Name."  You can leave the other fields blank or unchecked.

  • Once you've created an event you will be given the option to associate an existing price sheet with your Event. You can also create a custom price sheet with your own pricing. A price sheet is the pricing information that customers will use when they order prints from your Digibug page.

  • Hit continue and you will be presented with a summary of your newly created event. You do not need to upload photos. Click through to the administration control panel and  select "View Event List" under the "Upload Photos" section. There you will see your newly created Event in a list along with its ID. Write that ID down as you will need it later. Once you have the Event ID you're ready to return to Magic Gallery.

The next step is to download and install the Digibug Photo Template by clicking this link and choosing to "open" the file.  Magic Gallery will automatically load and install the template. Once the application is loaded it's time to create a gallery. For tips on basic gallery creation, please refer our  Getting Started page.  The following outlines the Digibug specific steps for gallery creation.

  • Add photos to your gallery
  • Set your publishing options to publish to a folder on your web server
  • Once you reach the "Choose Your Template" tab, select the Digibug Professional Photo Printing Template and click "Next"

  • Name your gallery as you normally would and then you will be prompted to enter your Digibug ID and Event ID.  Enter the company ID as a number 123 and also enter your event ID as a number.

Once those are entered, the gallery will be created and you will be able to preview your gallery. If everything looks okay,  click "Finish" and the gallery will be copied to your website.

Once the application is finished copying the files you can open the uploaded page from your server and test out the gallery and shopping experience.
